Project #2

So this project was a little more challenging than the last. This time I worked with Amie and Mike and we all agreed pretty quickly that we wanted to do it on Akon playing for Homecoming. We had really great sources that gave us some great quotes for the angle we were going for. Jared Dobson from SCOPE was really helpful in terms of statistics, how fast tickets sold out, how many tickets they sold, etc. The two girls that waited in line for a few hours also gave us good material to work with. They showed the excitement students have for this years show compared to last. After we interviewed everyone and listened to what we had to work with we thought of a narration and a focus for our story. They made me use my voice again, and well It's really making me not like the sound of my voice! It took a little longer to edit this time than last because we had more material to work with, and half way through the computer froze so we had to start over again. Oh well. It was a late, but sucessful night in the Library !
