New project idea

I decided to change what I was originally going to do for the final project. i am going to focus on the Pease Greeters that welcome home arriving soldiers at Pease Airport. Discussing project ideas in a group has definetly helped me because I was pretty clueless before. Even listening to the advice others had to say about another project was helpful as well. my classmates told me to focus on the past and the present with this project. Hopefully I will be able to find a veteran that experienced something a lot different on his return home than what soldiers experience now. If I can't find this subject I think I could find someone who is anxious in the arrival of someone they know overseas. I am not 100 percent sure and confident with my project but I think the only thing that will persuade me either way is actually going to one of the flights which I intend to do this weekend. I fear that the idea is too big and I will try to capture too much and in turn will not capture anything meaningful. I thought everyone elses ideas were really great. I like the idea of doing a personal piece, I hadn't thought of that before. I really like the idea of capturing the phenomenon of the "secret" theory. I think that will be challenging but if pulled off will be very interesting and educational. I also liked keely's idea of showing the relationship between the athelete mentor and the kid, I think that will be a great story. It's hard to envision my story right now because I haven't decided on a final angle and I don't have any current subjects that will drive the story. I have an idea in my mind but this could be fictional because I am expecting for something to be there and it might not be. I dread the project but really only due to the fact it will take a lot of time that I do not have. But I think I just need to get a start on it and I have faith I can make something great out of it!
